RONDCOM NEX has many lines of machines that help measure a variety of workpieces and functions to help save labor.
Since its release in 2014, Accretech’s RONDCOM NEX Series has been continuously evolving to meet market demands. The RONDCOM NEX is an advanced cylindrical roundness measuring device equipped with two options to reduce labor costs, while still inheriting the strengths of the RONDCOM generation, namely a variety of models to meet a variety of measurement functions and the advantage of low maintenance.
Two labor-saving options are the AFD (Automatic Force Detector) and the XY Axis Automatic Turntable. Thanks to this, RONDCOM NEX can automate processes that were previously performed manually, thus greatly improving measurement efficiency.
AFD (Automatic Force Adjustment Transducer)
AFD (Automatic Force Adjustment Probe) allows automatic adjustment of the measuring direction and measuring force by software. Thus, the machine can automatically measure the outer and inner diameters of the workpiece. When measuring grooved workpieces, the measuring needle is also automatically adjusted to prevent collision with the workpiece.
XY axis automatic rotary table – Greatly improves measurement efficiency of multiple workpieces and multiple locations
When measuring a large number of workpieces, conventional cylindrical roundness gages with turntables require the workpieces to be replaced repeatedly between individual measurements. However, the Rondcom NEX series features an automatic XY turntable, allowing multiple workpieces to be measured at the same time without requiring any special setup. This is an option that saves labor and measurement time.
