Siemens is bringing Industrial AI directly to the shop floor with the Siemens Industrial Copilot for Operations. This AI-powered assistant enables real-time decision-making by operators and maintenance engineers, enhancing productivity, streamlining operations, and minimizing downtime. The evolving Siemens Industrial Copilot ecosystem extends across manufacturing, infrastructure, and mobility sectors, fostering human-machine collaboration and accelerating innovation cycles. Integrated with the Industrial Edge ecosystem, the copilot enhances AI model deployment, operation, and management within production environments.

During CES 2025, Siemens announced a strategic collaboration with JetZero, an aviation startup focused on sustainable air travel. Together, they aim to revolutionize aircraft design with a cutting-edge blended wing model that reduces fuel consumption by 50%, lowers noise levels, and aims for zero carbon emissions by 2035. JetZero will leverage the Siemens Xcelerator open digital business platform for design, manufacturing, and operations.
JetZero’s upcoming ‘Factory of the Future’ in the United States will integrate Siemens’ automation solutions to digitize and optimize production processes. By utilizing comprehensive digital twin technology, JetZero will simulate aircraft manufacturing virtually, reducing risks and refining processes before physical production begins.

Empowering Startups Through the Industrial Metaverse
At CES, Siemens reaffirmed its commitment to democratizing industrial technology for startups through the Siemens for Startups program. This initiative provides access to Siemens’ industrial metaverse solutions, venture partnerships, and cost-effective software and hardware from the Siemens Xcelerator platform. Additionally, Siemens is collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer startups AWS credits, business development resources, and access to the AWS Activate program for technical and market support.
Bringing Photorealism to Product Lifecycle Management
Siemens announced enhancements to its Siemens Xcelerator platform in collaboration with NVIDIA. The new Teamcenter Digital Reality Viewer, powered by NVIDIA Omniverse, integrates physically accurate visualization directly into product lifecycle management (PLM) systems. This innovation allows teams to collaborate securely in a digital twin environment, improving decision-making and reducing errors.
“Our partnership with NVIDIA is transforming industrial visualization, enabling customers to virtualize and optimize products and plants with unprecedented accuracy,” said Koerte.
Immersive Engineering with Sony
Siemens and Sony Corporation unveiled a groundbreaking immersive engineering solution that integrates Siemens NX software with Sony’s advanced head-mounted display. This tool enhances industrial metaverse applications by enabling real-time, high-fidelity 3D collaboration for product engineering and manufacturing.
“NX Immersive Designer, featuring 4K OLED Microdisplays and intuitive controls, revolutionizes how engineers design and interact in mixed reality environments,” said Seiya Amatatsu of Sony Corporation’s XR Technology Development Division.
Introducing Designcenter for Engineering Innovation
Siemens also introduced Designcenter, a unified software suite combining its design and engineering tools, including Solid Edge and NX software. Designcenter ensures businesses of all sizes can collaborate seamlessly using the industry-leading Parasolid modeling kernel.
